Let me share a quick update.  We have almost made it to our target departure date.  With all the instability and unrest throughout the country we weren't sure that we would make it to the end. There are still reports of murders, shootings, kidnappings, thefts, and intimidation in the east. But, Kiev has been mostly peaceful.  We are praying for the people in the east to lay down their weapons and take up the peace of Jesus Christ in their hearts.  Elections will take place on Sunday.  So, be also in prayer about that.  We are happy to report our son's graduation from high school.  Yesterday Austin delivered one of the best salutatorian speeches that the school has ever heard.  We are very proud of his accomplishments and are excited about how God will continue to develop and use him in the future.  Though school is officially over we are still engaged in activities.  Today and tomorrow is the final school track and field meet.  Today Karyn won the 800 meter event.  We are proud of her accomplishments too.  We are also proud of Kaitlyn who graduated from kindergarten.  Please continue to pray for us as we wrap up things and prepare to depart on home ministry assignment.  We will be in the States this summer helping Austin transition to the next phase of his life, attending two family reunions and visiting some supporters and churches as the Lord give opportunity.  We would really appreciate your prayers!  Blessings from the Spirek family serving in Ukraine.
