Today I would like to share another praise and prayer request. But, before that let me provide some context. In the gospel according to Matthew our Lord instructs those who would follow Him to make disciples of all nations and to teach them everything that He commanded them. Elsewhere Paul instructs his disciple, Timothy, to teach those who will be able to teach others also. In obeying these words followers of Jesus experience much joy. This testimony is absolutely true! This past Saturday I sat across the table from two of my disciples through whom I experienced just that. Lena revealed her joy of recently getting to share the gospel with a Hungarian man named Shandar. God was at work in the conversation; and he trusted in Jesus as his personal Savior. After that testimony I helped my other disciple prepare his very first sermon that he preached on Sunday. Seeing God at work through my disciples has brought me much joy. Now I share my prayer request. Pray that God would continue to work through Mykola and Lena and that God would help this new believer, Shandar, to also be discipled that he might also experience this great joy! Thanks for your prayers and participation in building God's kingdom "from faith to faith."
