1 John 1:3 (ESV) “3 that which we have seen and heard we proclaim also to you, so
that you too may have fellowship with us; and indeed our fellowship is with the
Father and with his Son Jesus Christ.”
When we think of ministry we often think of church buildings
and programs. But, this verse reminds us that fellowship involves not buildings but proclaiming our faith experiences of Jesus one with another. This past week I experienced some of that true fellowship.

Kinder Bible Church VBS |
God gave me some opportunities simply to
“hang out” with children, volunteers, parents and grandparents of Kinder Bible
Church’s evening Vacation Bible school. I didn't have any special role to play. But, in the process of “hanging out” and sharing my faith experiences I was able to encourage several others in their Christian walks. I encouraged a grandson of one of the volunteers who had just trusted
Jesus that week. I gave him one of my discipleship bracelets. Several other children were encouraged through my saying the opening prayer in Russian language. These experiences led to sharing more faith experiences with parents and grandparents throughout the week. Altogether the camp saw 14 decisions for Jesus. So, I was reminded that sometimes ministry takes place simply by "hanging out" and sharing faith experiences with others. This week pray for God to give me more opportunities to share my faith and experiences with others at Camp Pearl. Thanks for sharing in my summer ministry journey.
