February 8 Update

Much has happened since the last blog update.  I don't have time to write a lengthy detailed letter.  So, here are the short summary points:  The holiday season (Western Christmas, New Years, Orthodox Christmas, Old New Years) came and went. We enjoyed having our son, Austin, here during the holidays.  Because of the holidays small group discipleship meeting schedules were shifted around to meet scheduling changes.  I hosted leadership meetings to review the past and plan for the future.  My daughter, Karyn, was inducted into the National Honor Society at school.  I volunteered at the Michael Gott International English Club ministry.  Their team of around 20 hosted a 2 week English Club evangelistic seminar for over 1000 students.  Now that their team has left the follow-up process begins.  Please pray for our churches to meet the needs.  Also, during January I partnered with a national serving refugees (internally displaced persons) in the east (read the previous blog post.)  We honored the teachers, Kim included, at KCA's teacher appreciation week and banquet.  Now we are gearing up for another semester of Lighthouse outreach and new discipleship small group meetings.  So, there's the quick unedited unpolished summary snapshot of just some of our activities since the last blog update.  We appreciate your participation through prayers, financial support and walking along with us by faith in our Savior, Jesus Christ!
