Today I was reminded of Charles Swindoll's book entitled "Living on the Ragged Edge." It is a book about the struggle to find joy in the midst of life's many challenges. I was reminded about this book because the word "Ukraine" actually means "borderland" or "edge." I thought to myself that Charles Swindoll could have never imagined the sort of challenges that Ukraine has seen over the past four months. In the past four months this country has been on the very "edge" of going to the EU, going to Russia, protests, riots, shootings, abductions, murders, car burnings, rumors of revolution, possible civil war, an invading Russian military and the central point of being at the very brink of a possible world war. I think Charles Swindoll needs a new chapter in his book for people like us who happen to live on the edge. What do you think? Should I help him write the next chapter?
