March 25 Update

I wanted to share a short update from Ukraine.  This week Kim and the children are having spring break from school.  The children were considering going on a mission trip to western Ukraine.  But, due to the uncertainty of Russia's military aggression against Ukraine we decided to stay close to home.  We feel that we need to be ready to respond if Russia decided to invade further.  So, the family is enjoying sleeping in late, playing games, and relaxing.  In May Austin will graduate from high school at Kiev Christian Academy.  So, this summer we plan to accompany him to the States to help him transition into the next phase of his life.  We will be visiting universities and helping him set up.  Though our time will be short we would like to visit as many family, friends and supporters as possible.  If your church would like a visit or if you would like a visit or have temporary housing then please let us know.  We would like to visit these areas:  Colorado, Dallas Texas, southwest Louisiana, central Pennsylvania and areas between.  If you want a visit then please email dspirek@yahoo.com.  Meanwhile please continue to pray for Ukraine and that Russia would remove their military from Ukrainian land.  Pray for decision makers to have wisdom from God to resolve the crisis peacefully.
