I have received some requests for prayer updates. Today, a particular request comes to mind. In January David was asked to be on the leadership team of Horizon of Life's "Lighthouse" English club ministry. The idea was to use English as a means to connect with, to serve, to share the gospel, and to discover those who might be called to become disciples of Jesus Christ. The team decided to have two main events each week. Tuesday nights about 80 English students come to Lighthouse club where we teach English lessons usually connected with a Bible text. More than half of those who attend are unbelievers or unchurched. Then, on Tuesday nights we teach a more in depth Bible study based from the previous Thursday night's lesson. Currently about 15 are attending Tuesday night Bible study. Today I would like to ask your prayers for God to open the hearts of people such as Maxim, Alla, Stephan, Dasha, Evgeniy, Mykola and others to not only attend these Bible studies but also to become real disciples of Jesus Christ. Pray for them to take that next step in their spiritual lives.
