May 17 Update

Last week I asked prayer for some new followers of Jesus who were seeking to obey Jesus Christ in water baptism.  A number of these went through my class on baptism.  Yesterday the church gathered at the river to baptize twelve into the body of Jesus Christ. I am sure they will remember this blessed event not only for the spiritual significance but also for the fact that the water and wind were still very cold.  As you think of these new followers of Christ (Vlad, Anastasia, Natasha, Reuben, John, Clara, Regina, Yulia, Olexandra, and others) please continue to pray for the Holy Spirit to strengthen and encourage them toward a life of obedience to Jesus.  Thanks for your participation in this ministry through your prayers, encouragement, and support!
