The good news gets better! That is the message from my ministry at Camp Pearl this past week. The more than 125 seventh and eighth graders who attended camp received a heaping measure of the Good News as
presented by my brother in Christ, Freddie Coile, the main speaker for the week. I also had a super time interacting with the campers as camp missionary for the week. In the missions class I shared about my host country, Ukraine, and taught about the spiritual “equipment” that God has
provided to His disciples in Ephesians 6. As a reminder of that spiritual “equipment”
and to pray for Ukraine I helped each camper make a craft para-cord "discipleship bracelet" in the blue and yellow colors of the Ukrainian flag. By the end of the week I think I made more than 130 para-cord bracelets. God was really at work. By the end of the week 18 campers had placed their faith in the grace of Jesus for salvation. Many others dedicated themselves to Christ's service. During the two weeks that I was there I met at least 3 who are considering going into missions. So, this trip to Louisiana was very spiritually fruitful. I would like to thank each of you who supported me during this trip through your prayers and financial gifts. From here, I move on to share in churches in Texas and Colorado before returning to Ukraine in August. Please continue to pray for spiritual fruitfulness and for support development while on this trip. Blessings - David
