I would like to thank those who have been praying. With the exception of a few minor issues the transition went relatively smoothly. There was a departure delay in Dallas that resulted in my being rerouted on another plane to another airport. I successfully arrived on time in Ukraine, but, the luggage arrived a day later. Another minor issue was that car battery didn't start. I had to bring it inside and connect it to a charger. The following week was very busy. On Monday and Tuesday Kim and I attended a risk and contingency planning seminar. In the seminary our team evaluated potential risks and then designed plans to deal with possible events. The remainder of the week was filled with teaching a Bible study from the book of Daniel, attending a Kyiv regional pastor's meeting, developing and preaching a sermon, and making contacts related to a possible refugee humanitarian aid project. The family was busy with making preparations for school. Kim started teacher in-service preparations. Karyn is going to before school gatherings with her classmates. I would like to ask you to pray for our family as David restarts discipleship ministries and Kim and the children resume school activities.
