September 15 update

Yesterday, I delivered some ten sacks of humanitarian aid mostly clothing and toys to the God's Design Refugee Church Plant on the southeast side of Kyiv.  While there I visited more personally with the pastor and one of his assistants both who came from eastern Ukraine.  Their stories are amazing.  Imagine having to leave behind your home, belongings, employment, business... to restart life in another location.  The government provides only a small amount of financial support not even enough to rent one room in an apartment.  You rely on food and clothing donations to help you survive.  There are several reasons you cannot return home.  In the east your home is likely damaged.  Infrastructure such as water, electricity, transportation either doesn't work or is unreliable.  Most business opportunities are destroyed.  If you returned the militants would persecute you anyway.  So, you are stuck trying to survive and make a new life.  These are some of the real life stories told to me yesterday.  Can you imagine?  The good news is that the gospel is going forth.  Eight new believers in this church plant for refugees are going to be baptized.  Pray for these people.  Consider contributing to my Ukraine Refugee Aid Project.
