September 7 update

A couple of weeks ago I attended a regional pastors meeting.  I attended for the purpose of

God's Design church plant

developing contacts for the "Ukrainian Refugee Humanitarian Aid Project" that I am doing.  While there I was introduced to the pastor of a new church plant in Kiev who is working directly with refugees from the east.  He invited me to visit his church and experience the ministry to the refugees.  So, yesterday I attended "God's Design Church".  I counted 45 people in attendance.  They were crammed into a small one room space that used to be a hair salon.  During the service I was sitting there making observation trying to "feel out" the situation.  The service went smoothly.  The sermon went well.  After the service they had believers' communion, sandwiches and then distributed some boxes of humanitarian aid clothing that had been donated.  From these observations I gathered that many who attended were probably unbelievers.  They were very glad to receive the sandwiches and second hand clothing.  I am considering partnering with this church as one of my local contacts for the humanitarian aid project.  I am also looking into developing some distribution contacts in the east closer to the front lines.  Would you pray for this church plant named "God's Design" and pastor?  Would you pray for God to lead me to the right partners for humanitarian aid distribution and spiritual work related to this project?
