May 2017 update

Some time ago our family started a fund to assist refugees (internally displaced persons) who ran away from militant controlled areas in eastern Ukraine.  In the past some of the money that was raised went towards practical needs such as food and necessities.  The money that was donated continues to have a positive result.  Last month of portion of the donations went to support a Christian Mobile Medical Clinic that was sent to the front lines near the conflict line.  In early April a team of twenty-five Ukrainian doctors together with a mobile medical clinic traveled to front line towns such as Svitlodarsk, Novoluhanske and Luhanske. During the time of their visit they examined and cared for 995 people.  In addition to providing medical services there were also opportunities to share the love and good news of Jesus Christ with many who also have spiritual needs.  Thanks for your participation through prayers and donations that helped realize such a timely ministry trip.  Please continue to pray for those who live along the front lines of fighting in eastern Ukraine.
