We definitely need your prayers! Lately the enemy has been trying to hinder our ministry with some health issues. We were on our way home from a CrossWorld team meeting when I came down with an illness. I must have had a fever because as we were on public transportation of the subway and bus I was felt hot. As usual the bus was packed with people both sitting and standing shoulder to shoulder. Of course they refused to open the windows. They have a superstition here that cross breezes are the cause of most illnesses. I felt like I was in a sauna without the ability to breathe. For the next two weeks I battled on and off a fever, cough, headache and chills. One Sunday I caughed so much before the service that I was unsure that I could even preach. Finally, I went to a private clinic for help. October 5 I was admitted to a Ukrainian hospital where a doctor confirmed that I had pneumonia and bronchitis. I was held hostage there for four days while the doctors fed me antibiotics and forced me to breathe into a machine. Finally, they released me back into the world with instructions to take medicine and to rest and to make follow up appointments. I am now at home feeling much better. But, this illness has really hindered my ministry. I ask your prayers that I would return to a normal routine and that the Lord would reopen the doors of ministry. Thanks in advance for your prayers!
