"The heavens declare the glory of God, and the sky displays what His hands have made. One day tells a story to the next. One night shares knowledge with the next, without talking, without words, without their voices being heard. Yet, their sound has gone out into the entire world, their message to the ends of the earth." (taken from Psalm 19:1-4) Traveling through the plains of southeastern Colorado this past weekend reminded me of these verses that I had read just days before in a devotional. I thought I understood them beforehand. But, they really came to life on Saturday night as I sat on Steve's porch watching the sunset, the colorful painted clouds, the birds, the stars, and the lightening in a distant prairie storm. God really does display His glory in the heavens! Even though the area was sparsely populated God is also present in His people in that rural area. In all my travels I have never seen a small church have such a worldwide impact in missions. The trip to Walsh Colorado this past weekend encouraged and challenged me to press forward with a sense of urgency to declare God's glory to the ends of the earth. I thank everyone who has played a role through prayer and support that I could go on this journey of faith. Now, I move on to the last phase in Texas before returning overseas to Ukraine.
